In collaboration with Anybill, Classic now allows digital receipts to be issued at participating Classic gas stations. The innovative solution reduces costs, saves resources and offers new marketing opportunities.
Classic is taking an innovative step towards environmental protection, efficiency and customer communication: The cooperation with the start-up Anybill now makes it possible to issue digital receipts at participating Classic gas stations. This sustainable alternative to conventional thermal paper not only reduces operating costs, but also makes an important contribution to environmental protection. Another advantage: The digital receipts offer a new platform for personalized marketing messages and campaigns directly on the receipt, which further strengthens customer loyalty.
The digital receipt is issued in three easy steps: The cashier asks the customer whether he would like a digital receipt instead of a printed one. If this is the case, the customer simply needs to scan the QR code at the terminal with the camera on their smartphone. By displaying the QR code, all legal obligations are met. The customer can then decide whether they want to download the document directly as a PDF or receive it as an attachment to an e-mail.
“Digital receipts open up new channels for direct communication and marketing because they enable us to place personalized offers and messages directly on digital receipts. We hope that this will result in stronger customer loyalty and new cross-selling potential,” explains Volker Kretschmer, authorized signatory at Classic gas stations. Anybill is currently being rolled out at all Classic filling stations that want to use the digital receipt.
