Overview
OEST ENERGIES is part of the AVIA Group and operates a wide network of fuel stations across Southern Germany. The company places a strong focus on modern technology and customer-friendly services. Its AVIA Xpress automated fuel stations offer a quick, convenient, and fully self-service experience around the clock. With the introduction of digital receipts, OEST is taking another step forward in digitization and customer satisfaction.
Goal
Paper receipts at automated stations require significant effort and often lead to complications in the receipt process. OEST was looking for a solution that fully complies with legal receipt issuance requirements without relying on printers, paper, or on-site staff. The main goal was to offer a digital service that is simple, secure, and always accessible for customers.
Implementation
OEST partnered with anybill to roll out digital receipts at selected AVIA Xpress locations. The implementation started with four fuel stations in Freudenstadt, Stuttgart-Möhringen, Dornhan, and Mannheim – with 25 additional sites to follow. The solution builds on the existing Hectronic automation technology and was integrated without complex adjustments.
A key component is anybill’s receipt finder. Customers paying by card can easily retrieve their receipt online – no app, no registration needed. The search is based on transaction details such as location, amount, date, and the last four digits of the card. The digital receipt is available immediately and remains accessible at any time. At the same time, OEST fulfills the legal requirement by displaying a QR code directly on the fuel pump screen.
