The founding
How it started
Lea Frank and Tobias Gubo meet in a university entrepreneurship course. In December 2018, the first idea takes shape at a startup weekend.
A year later, in December 2019, they found anybill in Regensburg as students. The trigger is the receipt issuance requirement from 2020.
Instead of accepting the mountain of thermal paper that would follow, the two build a digital alternative alongside their studies. First as an app. Then quickly as a platform.
