LS Retail has been developing business software for 30 years and, since 2021, has operated as an independent unit inside the Aptos group, which together with LS Retail is owned by the merchant banking division of Goldman Sachs. Retailers who run that business software can add anybill as the digital receipt at the till – without changing the Aptos membership or the independent unit.

Three decades of software development and the 2021 move into Aptos describe the frame in which store processes are steered. anybill starts at receipt issue: less thermal paper at the station, while the business software still comes from LS Retail and the ownership through Goldman Sachs merchant banking stays as stated.
