Since 1995, S/M Data Service und Marketing GmbH has been making payments without cash in retail, as well as using plastic cards as a customer or membership card, as a company ID and as an annual public transport ticket. Thanks to many years of experience, S/M Data is also a competent partner in the area of printer and identification systems.
As a cooperation partner of the cooperative network operator CardProcess, S/M Data serves as a sales and service partner for Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken customers with EC card terminals and payment functions in the online shop with credit cards.
Since 1995 S/M Data Service und Marketing GmbH has focused on cashless retail payments and on the plastic card as a customer or membership card, company ID and annual public-transport ticket. At the same point where EC-card terminals take payment, retailers can add anybill as a digital receipt — less media break between card and slip. Printer and identification systems stay S/M Data's craft; anybill can take load off the paper printer at the end of the payment.
As a CardProcess cooperation partner, S/M Data supports Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken customers with terminals and with credit-card payments in the online shop. anybill belongs on the in-store side of that path: the digital slip follows the card payment in the shop, while the web shop continues to run CardProcess credit cards. No claimed mandatory connector — an add-on along the payment.
This is for retailers and bank customers of the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken who deploy EC-card terminals through S/M Data and CardProcess. Teams that have taken cashless payments for years can use anybill as the receipt path instead of feeding the printer beside the terminal.
It also fits organisations that use plastic cards as customer cards, membership cards, company IDs or public-transport tickets and rely on S/M Data identification systems. Where identity and payment already sit on the card, anybill can digitise the proof.
At the till, card has met paper slip since 1995. anybill can keep that receipt digital while S/M Data still provides terminal, card and, if needed, the printer. Less thermal paper, the same cashless payment over the cooperative network.
The in-store value is one payment-and-receipt path: EC card or credit card, digital slip, archive on the phone instead of in a pocket. S/M Data remains the sales and service partner; anybill makes the receipt GDPR-aware and compatible with the payment infrastructure.
