Overview

HEM is a brand of the German Tamoil GmbH and belongs to the Dutch Oilinvest Group. The group operates around 2,450 gas stations in Europe and its own refinery in Hamburg. With more than 400 stations, Deutsche Tamoil is one of the ten largest gas station companies in Germany.

Solution

The switch to digital receipts is part of an optimization of operational processes at the gas stations and simultaneously helps minimize the ecological footprint. The collaboration with anybill allows for seamless integration of the service into the existing POS system from HUTH Elektronik Systeme GmbH. Digital receipts can thus be issued not only cost-effectively but also in compliance with legal requirements. Furthermore, the partnership with anybill provides the opportunity to use advertising space on digital receipts as an additional communication channel to specifically inform customers about current topics and offers at HEM gas stations.
