Starting position

With around 900 stations, AVIA Deutschland GmbH is one of the five largest providers of fuels and mobility services in Germany. As an association of 31 medium-sized member companies, AVIA serves its customers across Germany — from urban areas to rural regions.

As part of digitization and growing expectations for sustainability and efficiency, AVIA wanted to provide its filling stations with a modern service that combines customer proximity, environmental awareness and process optimization.

target

AVIA was looking for a solution that could connect to existing cash register systems without major technical effort. At the same time, environmental impact should be reduced, costs reduced and new digital options for reaching out to customers should be created. The digital receipt should not only fulfill the legal obligation, but also offer real added value.

transposition

With anybill as a technology partner, over 900 AVIA companies can integrate the digital receipt directly into their existing cash register systems. This is made possible by anybill's broad partner network, which comprises over 60 cash register systems — including HUTH, Hectronic and MADIC Germany.

The integration takes place without technical hurdles and offers several advantages: less paper consumption, automated document requests via a self-service module and new options for digital customer communication. The digital receipt thus becomes an additional, low-threshold marketing touchpoint.

Collaboration voices

Holger Mark, managing director of AVIA Deutschland GmbH:

“The partnership with anybill is an important step towards making our filling stations fit for the future. With the digital receipt, we not only offer our customers an additional service, but can also save costs and make processes more efficient at the same time. In addition, anybill's digital solution makes a valuable contribution to sustainability, directly and visibly. ”

Lea Frank, co-founder and CEO of anybill:

“We are very pleased to have gained a strong partner from the petroleum sector in AVIA. Together, we are taking an important step towards sustainable and digital checkout processes. The option to equip AVIA filling stations with our digital receipt service shows how flexibly and effectively our solution can be integrated into existing systems. ”

Upshot

The partnership between AVIA and anybill sets a pioneering standard in the gas station market. More than 900 locations can switch to digital receipts without technical barriers. This saves paper, relieves customer service and creates new digital points of contact with customers. AVIA thus focuses on sustainable processes that pay off directly and visibly in everyday life.
