Overview
Minera is a family-owned company based in Mannheim and operates around 90 service stations in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region and other parts of Germany. For over 100 years, Minera has stood for quality and reliability in the petroleum trade. With the introduction of digital receipts, the company is now setting new service standards at the fuel pump.
Objective
Paper receipts cause effort and cost. They get lost, are hard to retrieve, and often lead to follow-up questions in customer service. Minera was looking for a solution that would reduce this overhead without creating extra work for staff, while at the same time offering more convenience for customers.
Implementation
Minera partnered with anybill and implemented digital receipts at selected stations via its existing integration with MADIC’s POS system. Since no additional interfaces were required, the technical rollout was fast and seamless.
The core of the solution is the anybill Receipt Finder. Customers can access their receipt online at any time without using an app or creating an account – simply by entering key transaction details such as location, amount, date, and the last four digits of their card. This reduces friction at the pump and significantly cuts paper usage.
