Starting Point

For decades, HIRMER has stood for high-quality menswear and a unique shopping experience in the heart of Munich. With its flagship store on Kaufingerstraße, HIRMER operates one of the largest men’s fashion stores in Europe. At the same time, the company pursues a clear digital strategy, with customer service and sustainability playing a central role.

Goal

The focus was on expanding customer service with a digital touchpoint that seamlessly integrates into the existing loyalty program – the MÄNNERKARTE. The receipt should be delivered exactly where it is most useful for customers: directly on their smartphone.

Implementation

In collaboration with anybill, the digital receipt was introduced at HIRMER’s flagship store. Customers shopping via mobile checkouts now receive their receipts digitally – a service that is not only more sustainable but also perfectly reflects HIRMER’s high standards of comfort and innovation.

The digital receipt complements the existing loyalty program and strengthens customer relationships by creating a new digital communication channel.

Voices on the Collaboration

Gerhard Kränzle, Managing Director of the HIRMER Group:

“At HIRMER, we combine tradition with innovation. With anybill’s digital receipt solution, we are not only improving our customer service but also taking a clear step towards sustainability and digital excellence.”

In an official statement, he also emphasized:

“The digital receipt is another key element of our digital strategy and perfectly aligned with our loyalty program, the MÄNNERKARTE. Together with anybill, we are creating a shopping experience that is not only smarter and more convenient but also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability.”

David Thomas, Head of Department at HIRMER:

“Digital receipts are a central touchpoint for modern customer loyalty. Together with anybill, we are strengthening our MÄNNERKARTE program in a targeted way.”

Result

HIRMER now offers digital receipts across all floors of its flagship store in Munich via mobile checkouts. The solution enhances the loyalty program, improves the shopping experience, and supports the company’s digital strategy. At the same time, it sends a strong signal for sustainability in brick-and-mortar retail.
